Jumped on a flight to SLC for a little weekend getaway in Park City, Utah. It felt so refreshing to be in a different space, a winter wonderland. The crisp wintry air helped me clear my mind and unwind for once, and I missed that feeling. I’m constantly working, hustling, never stopping to take a breath to enjoy the fruits of my labor. And I finally had the chance to celebrate how far I’ve come in this difficult year by taking a trip to breathe in Park City.
I was truly happy–a feeling I hadn’t felt in a while. Being in Park City was food for my soul.
I kept the outfits simple since I was only planning to be in Park City for three days. I also wanted to keep warm since I’d been enjoying Vegas’ 60-degree winters, but it was below freezing in Park City when I visited. I got to see snow for the first time in a year, which brought a smile to my face that lasted all weekend.
We stumbled upon the Park City Nursery and found that they do a Christmas pop-up every year. They also had the coziest shop with the cutest Christmas ornaments. We spent an afternoon browsing the nursery and walking the property. It was so nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of Vegas and slow down for a while.
This trip reminded me to cherish moments before they become memories.
